NFC tags are a great way to ensure your caregivers or employees are at an exact location or that they are with a patient. This is especially important in-home healthcare, where proof of presence and an auditable Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) record are required during caregivers' visits in patients’ homes.
Using the Timesheet Mobile app, a manager can program NFC tags to identify your patients or job sites. There are many different types of NFC tags available. Below are compatible NFC NTAG devices available on Amazon.

To program:
1. Open the Android app (iPhone does not allow NFC programming) and click NFC from the side menu.
2. Select the Customer: Job you want to program into the NFC tag.
3. Hold the NFC tab to your phone until programming is complete.
The NFC sensors are in different locations on all phones. Try tapping the tag on all sides of your phone if you have trouble detecting it.
Verifying with NFC:
When an employee punches in and punches out, in addition to capturing their location, the Timesheet Mobile app will prompt them to tap the NFC tag on site.
From the admin panel, Punches verified with NFC are shown in the Activity Log and Timesheet Reports.
