Introduction
DSPs who operate cross borders can limit the number of times per year their drivers (or DAs) deliver to customers in Luxembourg.
Timesheet Mobile's Checkpoint feature can be used to capture when drivers cross the border from Germany into Luxembourg.
Administrators can then run a report to get a count of the checkpoint crossings for any given time frame.
Running Reports in Activity Log
In the Activity Log, the administrator can select a time range (1), one month or year to date, or as they wish. Next, they will select which employees or groups (2) and which workplaces(3) they would like to see.
Note: Make sure to set the Checkpoint dropdown(4) to "Show".
In this example, the employee has crossed over to Luxembourg at 12:29:26 on 2022-09-23. The note (5) that was entered by the driver from the Timesheet Mobile APP is clearly visible in the notes column.
This makes counting the number of crossing per time period very easy.
Print Report
When the Activity Log shows the data as the Administrator desires, this can be generated as a report and saved to their hard drive. From Tools -> Export Logs, the administrator can create a spreadsheet of the log they just created.
After clicking on "Export Log", a list of columns (or headings) will appear. The administrator can chose which columns he wants to see in the report.
Note: If the "Notes" column is selected, then any notes that the drivers have entered, like "LU", will appear in the spreadsheet.
In the report, column F shows the actions, like "Checkpoint" and G shows the Notes, in this case "LU".
This report can now be printed and given to any authorities that have requested it.
