Saving Notes

The Notes feature is one of the most commonly used features of the Timesheet Mobile smartphone app.  Administrators and employees rely on being able to capture additional information related to the customer, job and tasks.  Often, these notes are repeated for the duration of a job or task and many of our customers and their employees have requested a way to make notes entry even more efficient and useful.

Beginning with Android version 19.7 and iPhone version 8.1.0, the Timesheet Mobile smartphone app will remember the notes entered by an employee so that they can be quickly selected again.  Notes entered by employees will now be saved locally on the app and are searchable.  If an employee previously typed "Supply run" as a note and now wants to enter that again, they can simply select that saved not or start typing "Sup ..." and the note will be displayed for selection.  See screenshots for the Android and iPhone below:

We have many customers who instruct their employees to enter a fixed set of notes.  Now, once the employees have entered these notes as part of their regular punch in/out process, these notes will be available - no more typos!  Let us know how you like this new capability.
