Timesheet Mobile can now automatically filter shifts that are shorter than between 1-5 min. Such short shifts can result from a worker punching into the wrong job and quickly punching out or being punched into a geofence while waiting in traffic. If the time difference between the punch in and punch out of an worker is less than 1-5 minutes (configurable), those shifts are considered Short Shifts and can optionally be filtered for review/processing in the Pending Logs section.
Timesheet Mobile allows the admins/managers to view and approve or deny workers short shifts in Pending Logs. To automatically filter these shifts, go to the Settings, select Report Settings -Advanced section, and set Filter Short Shifts for Review to Yes then specify the Short Shift Length.
Settings--->Report Settings --->Adavnced--->Filter short shifts for Review
In the image above, Filter Short Shifts for Review is enabled and Short Shift Length is set to 1 minute. Timesheet Mobile allows you to remove Short Shift lengths between 1 to 5 minutes.
To review these short shifts, click on Reporting then Pending Logs on the side menu.
Short Shifts will appear in the Pending Logs > Shifts Remove by Filter(s) section for designated administrators and managers to approve or deny. To approve a shift, click on the green checkmark. To deny, click on the red (X). Denied shifts will be removed from the logs and timesheets.
If Filter Short Shifts for Review is set to NO, then all short shifts will directly reflect in the activity log and timesheet report without the need of admin/manager approval.
