Timesheet Mobile offers simple and powerful work scheduling features. Work schedules are visible in the smartphone app and used to remind workers when to start and stop their work times for the day. Schedules are also used to notify supervisors of any deviation from the planned work day such as workers starting late or not stopping work on time.
There are a number of locations that work schedules can be set up in Timesheet Mobile. Here are the different pages where work schedules can be created and managed in Timesheet Mobile:
- Scheduling Page. Use this page to view either a timeline or calendar view of all workers and sites available.
- Worker Control Panel View. Use the control panel view for each worker to focus on adding work schedules for one worker at a time in the calendar view.
- Site Control Panel View. Use the control panel view for each site to focus on adding work schedules for multiple workers for one site at a time in the calendar view.
Scheduling Page
Timesheet Mobile provides two main view options for schedules: 1) timeline, and 2) calendar. In addition, work schedules can be viewed for a perspective on all workers or for all sites. The view option and perspective provides users with the ability to choose a view that best suits their specific requirements. See below for examples of each view.

Creating Work Schedules
Work schedules can be created from the Scheduling page in several ways: 1) dragging worker or site from left panel, 2) clicking within the timeline or calendar, or 3) clicking the Add button. Only the Add button method allows for the creation of recurring work schedules.
When adding a work schedule shift, only basic information such as starting time, duration and work site or job is necessary. Additional options are available to creating repeating or recurring work schedules.
To create a repeating work schedule, select the repeat frequency (Daily, Weekly, Bi-weekly, Monthly or Annually):
Work schedules that repeat Daily, will be scheduled every day of the week until the expiration date or for the specified number of occurrences. Weekly and Bi-weekly repeat options allow the user to select which days of the week the work is planned as shown below for a work schedule that repeats weekly Monday thru Friday until December 13, 2021.
Monthly repeating events can be configured to repeat on the same date, for example on the 14th of the month or on the same day in the month such as the 2nd Sunday every month.
Annual repeating events happen on the same date each year.
Worker Control Panel
When creating work schedules for one worker, it is often easier to work in a calendar view dedicated to only that worker. Schedules for individual workers can be accessed by opening the control panel for that worker.
Selecting the Schedule tab will display the full calendar view for the worker where work schedules can be created and modified by clicking within the calendar or using the Add button.
Site Control Panel
When required, work schedules can be created for individual sites from the site control panel.
Selecting the Schedule tab will show all work schedules for the site. Work schedules can be added in the same way in in the worker control panel by clicking within the calendar or using the Add button.
Worker Smartphone App View
Work schedules added to the system are synchronized with the worker's smartphone app. Workers can view their scheduled work times, access detailed information about the site, work shift, or get directions to the site from within the app.
